My First Weeknote: The Beginning of a (Probably) Beautiful Thing
WEEKNOTES
11/15/20241 min read
Kia ora! I'm diving into the world of weeknotes, armed with nothing but enthusiasm and the vague hope that writing about my work week will make me better at... well, working.
Why weeknotes? Because apparently writing down what you're doing helps you figure out what you're actually doing. Revolutionary, I know. Also, I've been told they're a great way to track progress, share learning, and occasionally admit when things have gone spectacularly wrong.
Several people inspired me to start this but mostly:
Vicky Teinaki’s work.
Andy Callow, CDIO at Nottingham University Hospitals
Fair warning: These first few attempts are likely to be a bit rough around the edges (or, let's be honest, rough all over).
I'll be posting these every Friday, assuming I remember.
See you next week.....
